The Gospel here and now.

What I'm learning. Oh dear me. Do I even start to go into this or do I keep it to myself. There are many things I am learning but it scares me to share. I have kept a lot of my posts light and easy. Skipping out on the "what I believe-isms" that seem to so freely run wild in the blog world.

I have kept my thoughts largely to myself. Keeping quiet about what is in my heart. In part out of respect for you my readers (I know my two girls are not the only ones who will read this) and in part for fear. Fear that if I go into details I will offend, scare away, or stir up my readers.

That being said I also want to share my heart. But know this. I do not plan on turning this into my personal soap box. I am sure to return to the simple posts of life and love. Those are a major part of who I am just as this next bit that I am going to share is a big part of who I am. I cannot separate these inner parts of what make me. In fact how I Live and Love is all filtered through this truth. And so, in fact you should have known this first.

This is what I am learning. I am learning about the Gospel, again. The dark side of the Biblical law and what it says that I am and what the Gospel really means to that. I am not able to put it clear. I often feel like if you asked me in person I would stumble over my own tongue before I even got to stumbling over my words. But I do not need eloquence to know truth and to share The Word of God. I am a Jesus loving Christian. To some this is good news. This is a wonderful thing. To others, you have heard it before and don't want to hear it again.

But it is important. In fact it is the most important thing there is, ever! I am sorry if you read this and are offended I really do not wish to make you upset. In fact I desire for you to find the Glorious peace that is found in the Gospel. And I have no right to keep it to myself. I must share it.

And what is the Truth about the gospel? It is not what We must do for God but what He has done for us.
It is His death and resurrection some 2000 years ago that make it possible to be with Him forever. With out it we are left dead in our sins. Sin is anything that keeps up separate From His Holiness and that is everything that we do without Him.  Romans 3

What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;
11     there is no one who understands;
    there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
    they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
    not even one.”[b]
13 “Their throats are open graves;
    their tongues practice deceit.”[c]
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”[d]
14     “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”[e]
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16     ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”[f]
18     “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”[g]
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[h] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. 28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

The Law points out the brokenness and sin. That we are all dead without Christ.

And Christs death is for the atonement of those sins. He took our death upon himself so that we might live.
Here is a short video that tells it like it is.

For this I am thankful. For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, That who so ever believes in him shall have ever lasting life.

It is Gods Love for Us that Brings life into these dry Bones.

If you want more, If you have questions. Please don't hesitate to ask. I will never claim to be an expert but I will be happy to read the scriptures. To share what I know. To point you in the direction of Gods Love for You.

He is Risen,
He is Risen, indeed!!
